After having played for 7 minutes, Evert Lindblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balenciaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Lindblom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elias Alströmer kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Evert Lindblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Roy Boberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Karlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Evert Lindblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Karlstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Balenciaga's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Soned came free, but Isac Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bo Soned came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Kvarnen BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Soned couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Balenciaga's zone, Birger Hagberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Karlstedt came out of the goal and Birger Hagberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Birger Hagberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Karlstedt having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Kvarnen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Lindblom came free, but Karl-Johan Karlstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roy Boberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy Boberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl-Johan Karlstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roy Boberg in the 52nd minute of the match. Birger Hagberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Isac Karlstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
