After 19 minutes, Viggo Målare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oxelösund and the Gränden players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Oxelösund's Viggo Målare got a free kick in the 19th minute. Kalle Britz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Patric Kvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patric Kvarnström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the game, Adam Liljeström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oxelösund's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gränden the free kick. Adam Liljeström hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Patric Kvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalle Britz in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kalle Britz was the one to do the kick off. A well-hit corner resulted in Karl-Oskar Wiklund heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Patric Kvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalle Britz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oskar Tomasson came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Gränden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskar Tomasson couldn't finish the play.
