Markus Norberg made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Herman Åkerström sent off a good shot on target. Djurgarden IF's Markus Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Enström in the 42nd minute of play. In the 48th minute, Djurgarden IF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Herman Åkerström fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the game, Åke Berglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Bo Arenstedt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Svante Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th play minute Åke Berglund came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bo Arenstedt. 1-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Ekängen IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Djurgarden IF:s goal. Ekängen IF:s Bo Arenstedt showed great skill when he stopped Villiam Lindström:s penalty. Villiam Lindström took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bo Arenstedt. Bo Arenstedt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 79 minutes, Benjamin Klemensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ekängen IF and the Djurgarden IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjamin Klemensson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Gösta Britz kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Herman Åkerström made a precise shot to the right of Markus Norberg. Djurgarden IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. A collision led to Ekängen IF getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Benjamin Klemensson hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes Djurgarden IF got a freekick which was hit by Villiam Lindström. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Herman Åkerström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekängen IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Herman Åkerström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Norberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Åke Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 100th minute of the match Djurgarden IF got a corner. Ekängen IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Villiam Lindström ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Svante Hasselqvist to score against Bo Arenstedt in Ekängen IF's goal. 2-4 after 101 minutes. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Djurgarden IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
