In the 17th match minute, Dalhem FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Wenerdahl to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Villiam Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Dalhem FK booed when Djurgarden IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Berglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Algot Mogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Markus Norberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Svensson scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Norberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute, Jan Svensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Markus Norberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Djurgarden IF! Jens-Erik Hydén shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Kellbom got free with Markus Norberg in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Markus Norberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Svensson in the 40th minute. Markus Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Mogren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Jan Svensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dalhem FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Svensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Norberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The Dalhem FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dalhem FK fully deserved thier win.
