Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ove Wik got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Ola Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Gnarp's zone, Ove Wik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Erik Alströmmer came out of the goal and Ove Wik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, Vilgot Sundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Finspång's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gnarp the free kick. After a rather tough play, Finspång's Vilgot Sundström got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 13th match minute, Finspång was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. Ola Hermansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Granqvist having to interfere. Sven-Erik Alströmmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Wik in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Gnarp's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Wik came free, but Sven-Erik Alströmmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Arvin Spetz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Finspång's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gnarp the free kick. A collision led to Finspång getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Arvin Spetz hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Ove Wik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Erik Alströmmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Wik, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
After a defensive mix-up in Gnarp's zone, Nils Tönnberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Erik Alströmmer came out of the goal and Nils Tönnberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Finspång booed when Gnarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Hagberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute, Ove Wik reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sven-Erik Alströmmer. The goal made the score 0-1. Sven-Erik Alströmmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Wik in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Möller in the 68th minute of play forced Finspång's goalkeeper André Granqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Granqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Möller, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gnarp's Ola Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Algot Lundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Granqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Möller in the 89th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Finspång walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
