Sven-Oskar Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Gunnarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Staffanstorp BK's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Hake came free, but Sven-Oskar Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evert Felin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lyckeby's Algot Gunnarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Evert Felin put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sven-Oskar Nordström. Evert Felin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven-Oskar Nordström having to make a save. After 31 played minutes Staffanstorp BK got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Kuse. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Baran Alp Durak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyckeby's supporters rose to their feet, but Baran Alp Durak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Oskar Nordström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Baran Alp Durak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Oskar Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baran Alp Durak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Oskar Nordström having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Lyckeby's Evert Felin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Oskar Nordström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Evert Felin made the kick off in the second half. Stig-Åke Haström hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Lyckeby's Tom Lindman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Oskar Nordström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Staffanstorp BK's Rune Ekström got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Åke Bergsten got free with Sven-Oskar Nordström in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Lyckeby's Algot Gunnarsson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Svante Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Burman, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Evert Felin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lyckeby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evert Felin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rune Ekström fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Staffanstorp BK's protests and gave Rune Ekström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Rune Ekström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Algot Gunnarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-7 became the score in the 71st minute when Elof Hake elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Staffanstorp BK's zone, Elof Hake stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Oskar Nordström came out of the goal and Elof Hake tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sven-Oskar Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran Alp Durak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Elof Hake left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lyckeby fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8.
