In the 23rd match minute, Rödbo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Bjursell to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Casper Sandström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evert Fransson. Casper Sandström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Bertil Stålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Evert Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Överskottsbolaget's Kennet Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Hedlund in the 37th minute of play. Greger Wennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kennet Vidman having to interfere. Bertil Stålberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Överskottsbolaget's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bertil Stålberg to strike the kick off in the second half. If Greger Wennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casper Sandström in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evert Fransson saved Rödbo IF from getting behind. Greger Wennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greger Wennerström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Greger Wennerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Bröms hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Rödbo IF got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Bergfeldt. Evert Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Sandström in the 75th minute of play. Överskottsbolaget's Kalle Flinck got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 80 played minutes, Överskottsbolaget's Alfons Odén shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Evert Fransson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Överskottsbolaget reached it. In the 90th minute, Casper Sandström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximilian Igelström during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Överskottsbolaget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Igelström to maneuver through the defense. Överskottsbolaget's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
