Aaron Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 played minutes Vitå got a freekick which was hit by Eric Holmgren. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Aaron Blom put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcus Hellström. Marcus Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Alf Caspersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Blom struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Marcus Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bankeryd. Marcus Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Caspersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Caspersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Marcus Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Aaron Blom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Konrad Söderström fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bankeryd's protests and gave Konrad Söderström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vitå's Eskil Rolfsson got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eskil Rolfsson was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Aaron Blom recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcus Hellström. Aaron Blom showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Caspersson got free with Marcus Hellström in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute, Eskil Rolfsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 minutes, Eric Holmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vitå and the Bankeryd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Vitå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Bankeryd's Tord Holmberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Hellström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 94th minute, Alf Caspersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bankeryd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Bankeryd supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bankeryd would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
