With his leg Tomas Holm managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Falkenberg IK's Elof Ingemarsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elof Ingemarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, Mikael Lång recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomas Holm. Mikael Lång showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Herman Myr didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Spetz went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Falkenberg IK's Mikael Lång ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Holm. Tomas Holm yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 40 minutes into the game, Christer Fors was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pilegården IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falkenberg IK the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Falkenberg IK fully deserved thier win.
