After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Eddie Stenqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lidköping FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddie Stenqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Månsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Lönsboda BF's Eric Månsson got control of the ball when Eddie Stenqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eric Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixten Ahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Stig Gerdberg came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Lönsboda BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Gerdberg couldn't finish the play. Maciej Szczęsny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Alstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Eric Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Ahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Lönsboda BF's zone, Eddie Stenqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Månsson came out of the goal and Eddie Stenqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lidköping FC's Sixten Ahlberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eric Månsson. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. Maciej Szczęsny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Alstedt in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, Lidköping FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niclas Alstedt came free, but Maciej Szczęsny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lönsboda BF's Johannes Ingemarsson got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sixten Ahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Sixten Ahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lidköping FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixten Ahlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eric Månsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joakim Mellberg in the 87th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Stig Gerdberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maciej Szczęsny. Lidköping FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Gerdberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lidköping FC fully deserved thier win.
