After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Urban Skålberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Zyricos's supporters rose to their feet, but Urban Skålberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kennet Sundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 played minutes The Kop FC got a freekick which was hit by Kim Vallgren. The Kop FC's Kennet Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Österberg in the 14th minute of play. Urban Skålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Kennet Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, The Kop FC's Thomas Ström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Falk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roger Hjälm hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 30 minutes, Patrick Paulin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Kop FC and the El Zyricos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Patrick Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Urban Skålberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Kennet Sundström to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to The Kop FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Thomas Ström hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrick Paulin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kennet Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urban Skålberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Kennet Sundström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urban Skålberg went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Thomas Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ingemar Björnberg during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of The Kop FC booed when El Zyricos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingemar Björnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roger Hjälm kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, The Kop FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Vallgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Karl-Ove Sjögren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kennet Sundström skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Skålberg in the 68th minute of play forced The Kop FC's goalkeeper Kennet Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, El Zyricos's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Paulin came free, but Adrian Falk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 played minutes The Kop FC got a freekick which was hit by Markus Hermansson. If Urban Skålberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Kop FC's goalkeeper Kennet Sundström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Ingemar Björnberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 88 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, El Zyricos's Ingemar Björnberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. The Kop FC's Markus Hermansson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for El Zyricos. Kennet Sundström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urban Skålberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Zyricos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
