Spectators: 7110 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) When Evert Ekström fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Lundby's protests and gave Evert Ekström a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for IFK Lundby! Ivar Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Lagerberg having to interfere. Tollered's Erling Lagerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Tollered from getting a goal against them. Erling Lagerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Hellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Ivar Mårtensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Per-Oskar Löfgren struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Douglas Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tollered. Douglas Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Lidman, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Hellkvist in the 32nd minute of play forced Tollered's goalkeeper Erling Lagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Per-Oskar Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tollered's Dick Lidman got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Oskar Löfgren scored 0-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Douglas Hellström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Per-Oskar Löfgren to make the kick off. Karl-Axel Fribäck hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, IFK Lundby's Douglas Hellström got control of the ball when Dick Lidman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Per-Oskar Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Per-Oskar Löfgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Douglas Hellström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per-Oskar Löfgren ran back to his position shaking his head.
