Spectators: 7367 (Terracing: 5526, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nils-Åke Liljeström started the match with the kick off. Gottfrid Broberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Åke Liljeström in the 4th minute of play. When Granbergs AIS's Charles Hermansson in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye INVX's goalie prevented a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Nils-Åke Liljeström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gottfrid Broberg, 1-0. Granbergs AIS's Gottfrid Broberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Liljeström in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, one of Granbergs AIS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Granbergs AIS. Gottfrid Broberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Åke Liljeström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rikard Kristiansson fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granbergs AIS's protests and gave Rikard Kristiansson a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Granbergs AIS! Gottfrid Broberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jarl Odman in the 32nd minute. Charles Hermansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Lars-Erik Gudmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granbergs AIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars-Erik Gudmundsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils-Åke Brun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Gert Skröder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils-Åke Brun was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After 44 minutes of play, Granbergs AIS's Charles Hermansson made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils-Åke Brun was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Hermansson made a kick off. When Granbergs AIS's Lars-Erik Gudmundsson in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye INVX's goalie prevented a goal. 55 minutes into the match, Charles Hermansson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nils-Åke Brun, 3-3. Granbergs AIS's Lars-Erik Gudmundsson got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 minutes, Edvin Bammerman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INVX and the Granbergs AIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edvin Bammerman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Granbergs AIS's Charles Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Granbergs AIS's Charles Hermansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Åke Brun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Nils-Åke Brun managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Granbergs AIS's Charles Hermansson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 96 minutes, Lars-Erik Gudmundsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Granbergs AIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars-Erik Gudmundsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 98 minutes into the match, Granbergs AIS's Charles Hermansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Åke Brun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Granbergs AIS's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because INVX had won, even though Granbergs AIS had held more of the ball.
