Dominus Lightning Unborn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Milan the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Milan's Jan Åkerman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kjell Knutsson. That made the score 1-0 after 37 minutes of play. Kjell Knutsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Christoffersson in the 44th minute of play. After 45 minutes, Jörgen Mossberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Milan and the Dominus Lightning Unborn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simon Mellbad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Aspengren in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carl Christoffersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils Gustavsson struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Kjell Knutsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Milan. Valentin Arvidsson hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Carl Christoffersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Dominus Lightning Unborn defense, Carl Christoffersson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjell Knutsson. The Dominus Lightning Unborn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell Knutsson should have stopped the shot. When Jörgen Mossberg came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the AC Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Mossberg couldn't finish the play. Kjell Knutsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils Gustavsson went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Dominus Lightning Unborn booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Mossberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, George Duset fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Simon Mellbad, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Dominus Lightning Unborn's zone, Nils Gustavsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Knutsson came out of the goal and Nils Gustavsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjell Knutsson came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Milan's Carl Christoffersson. But to his dismay, Carl Christoffersson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of AC Milan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dominus Lightning Unborn:s goal. The goalkeeper, Simon Mellbad, was totally fooled by Dominus Lightning Unborn's Stig-Ove Thidén, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 94th minute, Nils Gustavsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kjell Knutsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1.
