Greger Zander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Lind in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Dennis Nyberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Snäll's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Greger Zander - 1-1 was put on the score board in the 40th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Lind made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sigvard Smefeldt during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Östra Karup got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Smefeldt. Jens-Ola Vallman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Nord, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Jens-Ola Vallman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Nord in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Lind in the 85th minute of play forced Källby BF's goalkeeper Greger Zander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Åkerström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 93 minutes, Tobias Åkerström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Källby BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Åkerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Ola Vallman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Algot Nord's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
