After 15 played minutes DANTORPE got a freekick which was hit by Arvid Deckbergh. Patrik Billock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marko Pihlgren having to interfere. Leif Tunström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Almkvist having to interfere. Matthias Kjellqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Tunström in the 38th minute of play forced Grimstorp FK's goalkeeper Kent Almkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthias Kjellqvist took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kent Almkvist. Kent Almkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 42 minutes, Göran Aleberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grimstorp FK and the DANTORPE players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Arvid Deckbergh advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-3 in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matthias Kjellqvist was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, DANTORPE's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Dahlman came free, but Marko Pihlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Matthias Kjellqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Almkvist was relentless in the 85th minute of the game.
