Spectators: 7145 (Terracing: 5469, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 0) Mullhyttan's Melker Tunberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Johan Asklöv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melker Tunberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When Melker Tunberg came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Mullhyttan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melker Tunberg couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Melker Tunberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Asklöv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sven Sundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kongshojs boys's Roger Ingemarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mullhyttan getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mats Falkrantz hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Jonas Pil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarl Lagerberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jarl Lagerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Ingemarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Kongshojs boys's Johan Asklöv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melker Tunberg in the 21st minute of play. Mullhyttan's Jarl Lagerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Ingemarsson in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Sundström in the 27th minute of play forced Mullhyttan's goalkeeper Jarl Lagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Kongshojs boys booed when Mullhyttan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Hellström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Melker Tunberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Asklöv saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarl Lagerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Sundström in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Roger Ingemarsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kongshojs boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Ingemarsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Ingemarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Lagerberg having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 46th minute when Roger Ingemarsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Ingemarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birger Ek in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johan Asklöv prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mats Falkrantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Johan Asklöv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johan Asklöv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melker Tunberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68thth minute of the game Melker Tunberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kongshojs boys's Johan Asklöv was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Mullhyttan's goalkeeper Jarl Lagerberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Sundström. If Roger Ingemarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Kongshojs boys defense, Birger Ek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johan Asklöv. The Kongshojs boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johan Asklöv should have stopped the shot. Birger Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johan Asklöv having to interfere. Sven Sundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kongshojs boys's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
