The supporters of Sibbhult RK booed when Burseryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Siggman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Burseryd's Aleksander Olofsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Burseryd from getting a goal against them. Aleksander Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Hedbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burseryd's Aleksander Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Hedbom in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Burseryd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Beckeman to maneuver through the defense. If Frans Lundgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Malcolm Hedbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sibbhult RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Hedbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Burseryd's zone, Frans Lundgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleksander Olofsson came out of the goal and Frans Lundgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Sibbhult RK's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmie Nässén came free, but Sven-Ove Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Hermanssons short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Sven-Ove Lundgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
