Edmund Gernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Andreasson in the 5th minute of play. A.I.K FC's Edmund Gernberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save A.I.K FC from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute Alex Andreasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Gernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Sjödin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A.I.K FC's Edmund Gernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Andreasson in the 15th minute of play. Reine Karlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Jonsson in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of A.I.K FC booed when Sibräcka GOIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Mårtensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.I.K FC's Emil Kilström couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sibräcka GOIF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Sjödin in the 20th minute of play forced Sibräcka GOIF's goalkeeper Reine Karlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Åke Andberg got free with Edmund Gernberg in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmund Gernberg made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Marcus Samuelsson sent off a good shot on target. Per-Åke Andberg took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmund Gernberg. Edmund Gernberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. With a little luck, A.I.K FC's Edmund Gernberg got control of the ball when Per-Åke Andberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reine Karlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Sjödin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A.I.K FC's Edmund Gernberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Holmberg in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Sjödin in the 41st minute of play forced Sibräcka GOIF's goalkeeper Reine Karlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Åke Andberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmund Gernberg made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Per-Åke Andberg sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the match, A.I.K FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Andreasson came free, but Edmund Gernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Axel Sjödin made the kick off in the second half. Edmund Gernberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Alex Andreasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Edmund Gernberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 57th minute Per-Åke Andberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Gernberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Sjödin struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Reine Karlberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.I.K FC. A hard shot 60 in the game by Axel Sjödin from a close distance when the talented Reine Karlberg managed to make a qualified save. Sibräcka GOIF's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Roger Gustafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.I.K FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reine Karlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Sibräcka GOIF's Per-Åke Andberg got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When A.I.K FC's Axel Sjödin in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Axel Sjödin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Sjödin in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reine Karlberg saved Sibräcka GOIF from getting behind. Tomas Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Axel Sjödin managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.I.K FC's Roger Gustafsson suffered a sore foot after 97 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helge Holmberg during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Sibräcka GOIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. A.I.K FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
