Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victor Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jimmie Boman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Duvbo IK's Victor Johansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmie Boman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Karl-Erik Petersson during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vittsjö IF booed when Duvbo IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Erik Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match, Folke Wallin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fredric Blom saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Patric Nordkvist struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Fredric Blom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vittsjö IF. A collision led to Duvbo IK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gustav Bengtsson hit a great ball. Fredric Blom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henning Drake in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Folke Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Duvbo IK's Krister Nordlander got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Henning Drake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vittsjö IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Drake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henning Drake fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Blom having to interfere. Marcus Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Vittsjö IF's Folke Wallin in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Duvbo IK's goalie prevented a goal. Sven Kuse charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Kuse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fredric Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Wallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st match minute, Vittsjö IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patric Nordkvist to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Marcus Sandberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmie Boman was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Victor Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Boman having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Duvbo IK's Marcus Sandberg in the 73rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jimmie Boman was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vittsjö IF through an amazing save. After having played for 75 minutes, Marcus Sandberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Duvbo IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Sandberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Johansson scored 0-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimmie Boman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Folke Holmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The shot was a little too simple and Jimmie Boman could save by the left post. The Duvbo IK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
