When Ronny Hedberg came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the hµhµ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Hedberg couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, hµhµ's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Sandberg came free, but Mathias Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Duvbo IK's Mathias Engström threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcus Sandberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mathias Engström made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Victor Johansson sent off a good shot on target. Fredric Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Lövskog, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, hµhµ's Mathias Engström got control of the ball when Victor Johansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mathias Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Helge Lövskog managed to get in a good position for a shot. hµhµ's supporters rose to their feet, but Helge Lövskog was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredric Blom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Johansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Engström having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcus Sandberg to strike the kick off in the second half. If Helge Lövskog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Johansson in the 55th minute of the match. Helge Lövskog's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fredric Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, hµhµ's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Nordlander came free, but Mathias Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fredric Blom didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. hµhµ were furious when Karl-Ove Broberg was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 72nd minute, one of hµhµ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for hµhµ. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Helge Lövskog in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredric Blom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Helge Lövskog blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredric Blom having to make a save. 90 minutes into the game, Kaj Vennerkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fredric Blom. Kaj Vennerkvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Mathias Engström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Johansson in the 95th minute of the match. Peter Josefsson hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
