The audience thought a goal was coming when Johan Willig got free with Johan Eskilsson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Boris Kalfhage came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Varbergs Bois fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Kalfhage couldn't finish the play. In the 18th match minute, Flarken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Lindholm to maneuver through the defense. Johan Willig who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Johan Eskilsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 25th minute, Boris Kalfhage hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustav Alebom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urban Alefors having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell Ekenberg during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes Varbergs Bois got a freekick which was hit by Kjell Ekenberg. The audience was convinced that Gustav Alebom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urban Alefors was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Urban Alefors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Charles Qvarnström's late challenge caught a Flarken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After the first half Flarken were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boris Kalfhage was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Flarken's Joseph Wallin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urban Alefors was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Varbergs Bois getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Oscar Kilström hit a great ball. Joseph Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Urban Alefors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Varbergs Bois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Andreasson to maneuver through the defense. Joseph Wallin in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Olof Pilberg shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Flarken's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
