Spectators: 6529 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) IK Länsby's Sverker Lang started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonard Lundqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philip Lindström's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Per-Åke Dahlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Lundqvist having to interfere. Philip Lindström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th match minute, Broby United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Philip Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Sverker Lang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonard Lundqvist. Broby United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sverker Lang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rickard Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Möllgren having to interfere. With a little luck, IK Länsby's Dan Möllgren got control of the ball when Emanuel Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. IK Länsby's Dan Möllgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Holm in the 23rd minute of play. Sverker Lang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When IK Länsby's Philip Lindström in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Broby United's goalie prevented a goal. Philip Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sverker Lang, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Rickard Holm hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Rickard Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Möllgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rickard Holm to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Sverker Lang managed to get in a good position for a shot. IK Länsby's supporters rose to their feet, but Sverker Lang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonard Lundqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sverker Lang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Leonard Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Philip Lindström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Broby United getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Simon Lundström hit a great ball. Philip Lindström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Möllgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Jansson in the 69th minute of the match. Sverker Langs short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Leonard Lundqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 72 played minutes Broby United got a freekick which was hit by Frank Nyberg. Leonard Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Lang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Broby United's goalkeeper Leonard Lundqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sverker Lang. 77 minutes into the match, Simon Lundström notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of IK Länsby's Dan Möllgren. Dan Möllgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. IK Länsby's Egon Stephansson was substituted for Patrick Svartengren. Bertil Strandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Sverker Lang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Andersson made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by IK Länsby's Per-Åke Dahlberg. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Broby United's goalkeeper Leonard Lundqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claes Benett hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After having played for 95 minutes, Rickard Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broby United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Holm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over IK Länsby could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Broby United throughout the match.
