Spectators: 7034 (Terracing: 5534, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Joakim Bergman made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, IK Länsby's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Hamnberg came free, but Dan Möllgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Philip Lindström came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the IK Länsby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Lindström couldn't finish the play. Alexander Fredriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sverker Lang went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sverker Lang got free with Alexander Fredriksson in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Alexander Fredriksson managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when IK Länsby's Sverker Lang fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sverker Lang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niklas Hamnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Sverker Lang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. IK Länsby's Philip Lindström got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. IK Länsby's Sverker Lang got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sverker Lang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joakim Bergman hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sverker Lang to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Philip Lindström put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alexander Fredriksson. Philip Lindström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alexander Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sverker Lang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Philip Lindström managed to get in a good position for a shot. IK Länsby's supporters rose to their feet, but Philip Lindström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Vara's Joakim Bergman got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 73rd minute, Sverker Lang made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Fredriksson. Vara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Joakim Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. IK Länsby's Egon Stephansson was substituted for Patrick Svartengren. Alexander Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Lang in the 84th minute of play. After 86 minutes of play, IK Länsby's Sverker Lang made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Fredriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Vara defense, Sverker Lang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Fredriksson. The Vara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Fredriksson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Lang in the 94th minute of play forced Vara's goalkeeper Alexander Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that IK Länsby were the better team. IK Länsby's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
