When Sten Skålberg fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bjärtrå's protests and gave Sten Skålberg a yellow card for diving instead. Sten Skålberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Martin Bjursell acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Karl Ahlström. Karl Ahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Bjursell having to interfere. CHABBE IF's Folke Backlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Brenner in the 17th minute of play. When Malcolm Hellström came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the CHABBE IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcolm Hellström couldn't finish the play. Aaron Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Martin Bjursell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Ivar Brenner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Folke Backlund. CHABBE IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivar Brenner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sten Skålberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Abrahamsson in the 32nd minute of play forced CHABBE IF's goalkeeper Folke Backlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Folke Backlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Hasselqvist in the 38th minute of the match. CHABBE IF's Folke Backlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Brenner in the 38th minute of play. Ivar Brenner struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Folke Backlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bjärtrå. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Abrahamsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivar Brenner got free with Folke Backlund in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th match minute, CHABBE IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Ahlström to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Bergman in the 58th minute of play forced Bjärtrå's goalkeeper Martin Bjursell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Christian Abrahamsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Folke Backlund. Christian Abrahamsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After 63 minutes of play Bjärtrå's Sten Skålberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Sten Skålberg hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, Bjärtrå was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Karl Ahlström managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHABBE IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Ahlström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Bjursell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Bjärtrå booed when CHABBE IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Bergendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Mattias Hasselqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bjärtrå's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Hasselqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Backlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of CHABBE IF booed when Bjärtrå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Tillman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bjärtrå's zone, Karl Ahlström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Bjursell came out of the goal and Karl Ahlström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henrik Bivall hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Karl Ahlström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CHABBE IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Bjärtrå's Henrik Bivall managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jens-Åke Bergendahl in the 92 minute of the game. When the match was over Bjärtrå could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CHABBE IF throughout the match.
