But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Måns Bruse couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Granatpulver defense, Roger Ahlbom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Wållander. The Granatpulver fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Wållander should have stopped the shot. Måns Bruse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gert Mårtensson having to make a save. Hindric Pers BK's Gert Mårtensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Bruse in the 28th minute of play. Daniel Wållander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Ahlbom in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Roger Ahlbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Roger Ahlbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Melker Wester kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Gert Mårtensson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Lindberg's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Agne Esbjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gert Mårtensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gert Mårtensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Lindberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Hindric Pers BK's zone, Agne Esbjörnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gert Mårtensson came out of the goal and Agne Esbjörnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
