Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Åke Hedberg got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute of the match Christer Brun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alex Aleberg skillfully saved the ball. Gert Sundling struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Alex Aleberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odensbacken. If Gert Sundling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lugnvik IK's Alex Aleberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Lugnvik IK from getting a goal against them. Östen Hök blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Aleberg having to make a save. Gert Sundling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Lugnvik IK's goal looked a bit too open when Östen Hök came free, but Alex Aleberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Aleberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Östen Hök in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute Åke Hedberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Jakobsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gert Sundling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Aleberg having to interfere. Lugnvik IK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Östen Hök 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Östen Hök kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alex Aleberg. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. After 45 minutes, Gert Sundling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Odensbacken and the Lugnvik IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Odensbacken getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gert Sundling hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Östen Hök to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Hök in the 59th minute of play forced Lugnvik IK's goalkeeper Alex Aleberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Odensbacken's Thor Hammarberg got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Örjan Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Aleberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Simon Ståhlman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elias Jakobsson, passed just outside the right post. Alf Beneth kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Gert Sundling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alex Aleberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Lugnvik IK got a freekick which was hit by Claes Alebeck. After 75 played minutes, Odensbacken's Martin Dalberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alex Aleberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Odensbacken reached it. After 82 played minutes Odensbacken got a freekick which was hit by Christer Arhenius. Östen Hök struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Alex Aleberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odensbacken. Gert Sundling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Aleberg having to interfere. Odensbacken walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
