Seglora's Thomas Snäll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Grep in the 4th minute of play. If Ove Grep had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Algren lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Arman Algren hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olov Nordstedt got free with Ivan Galle in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute of the match, Östen Sikström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ivan Galle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 14 minutes into the match, Seglora's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Berg came free, but Thomas Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olov Jernberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Seglora's Daniel Johnsson got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 38th minute, Ove Grep ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Snäll was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 43 minutes into the game, Seglora's Olov Nordstedt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Galle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kim Grubb made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Rune Askestät in the 61st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fågelfors FF's Jens-Ove Berg. After some careless play in the Fågelfors FF defense, Kim Grubb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Galle. The Fågelfors FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Galle should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Eric Nordlund with Kim Grubb as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Daniel Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Seglora booed when Fågelfors FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ove Grep didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Galle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jens-Ove Berg fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fågelfors FF's protests and gave Jens-Ove Berg a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Fågelfors FF got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ove Berg. 87 minutes into the match, Fågelfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Johnsson came free, but Ivan Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Olov Jernberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Snäll was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 96th minute, Jens-Ove Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite being the better team, Fågelfors FF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
