The referee ignored Väring's protests and gave Harald Österlund a yellow card for diving instead. Harald Österlund kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Christian Tingelholm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustav Lindholm. Väring's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Örjan Rang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Alfons Hedling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Albin Dahlquist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kasper Helström, 1-0. When Aspabruk's Ove Wickander in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Väring's goalie prevented a goal. When Joseph Christoffersson came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Väring fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Christoffersson couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the match, Christian Tingelholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustav Lindholm. Väring's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Tingelholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximilian Sandberg made a kick off. Kasper Helström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. A collision led to Väring getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dag Löv hit a great ball. Ove Wickander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Gustav Lindholm made a huge save.
