In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fortuna Cebu's goalkeeper Tobias Jonasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Torbjörn Holmgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tobias Jonasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torslanda BK's goalkeeper Sverker Sandberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Torslanda BK booed when Fortuna Cebu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Bjursell didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Torbjörn Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tobias Jonasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Gregersson in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Torslanda BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Österlund to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Patrik Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Patrik Josefsson put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sverker Sandberg. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Fritz Ingemarsson made the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Jan-Erik Strömberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sverker Sandberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 54 minutes into the game, Ove Nyström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torslanda BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fortuna Cebu the free kick. Ove Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Sverker Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Ingemarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fritz Ingemarsson struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sverker Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fortuna Cebu. In the 66th minute, Patrik Josefsson made a precise shot to the right of Sverker Sandberg. Torslanda BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Sverker Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Josefsson in the 69th minute of play. If Gösta Hjeltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Torslanda BK's Allan Gregersson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Torbjörn Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torslanda BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Holmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Jonasson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Fortuna Cebu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Torbjörn Holmgren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
