Spectators: 6684 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Per-Erik Wenerdahl started the match with the kick off. Sverker Sandberg came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmsund's Markus Käcker. But to his dismay, Markus Käcker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 7 minutes, Ove Nyström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torslanda BK and the Holmsund players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Torslanda BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Nyström to maneuver through the defense. Markus Käcker struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Sverker Sandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmsund. In the 12th minute Torbjörn Holmgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Mikaelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Markus Käcker got free with Sverker Sandberg in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 20 in the game by Markus Käcker from a close distance when the talented Sverker Sandberg managed to make a qualified save. Torslanda BK's players were relieved. Uno Mikaelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Gregersson in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Holmsund's zone, Allan Gregersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uno Mikaelsson came out of the goal and Allan Gregersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sten Brander kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Allan Gregersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Uno Mikaelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Allan Gregersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uno Mikaelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Markus Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Erik Wenerdahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sverker Sandberg having to interfere. Per-Erik Wenerdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Torslanda BK's Sverker Sandberg got control of the ball when Markus Käcker tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Gregersson made a kick off. Uno Mikaelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Gregersson in the 61st minute of the match. Torbjörn Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sverker Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Wenerdahl in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute, Gösta Hjeltman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tage Ryberg hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Allan Gregersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Mikaelsson having to interfere. If Per-Erik Wenerdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erling Willig hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Holmsund! In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Torslanda BK. Björn Hjelm stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Uno Mikaelsson. 1-1. Allan Gregersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Mikaelsson having to interfere. Torbjörn Holmgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uno Mikaelsson having to make a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
