An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Juhlin in the 11th minute of play forced Holmsund's goalkeeper Uno Mikaelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Färjestaden BF's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Käcker came free, but Walter Söderberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Juhlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Juhlin made a kick off. Markus Käcker succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 52nd playminute. Bengt Rönn hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Michael Hääger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uno Mikaelsson was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Holmsund's Boris Billing pulled a muscle in his back after 69 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gert Salqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gert Salqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Färjestaden BF getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gert Salqvist hit a great ball. Bengt Rönn hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Uno Mikaelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Juhlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Michael Hääger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sten Brander couldn't finish the play.
