Bror Linquist was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Håkan Tham capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Håkan Tham really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Håkan Tham to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Håkan Tham notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Herrängs Bondpojkar's Bror Linquist.
