After 13 minutes, Alexander Fridlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jimmies Soldater and the sumpan bk players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Alexander Fridlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustav Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Lagerberg having to interfere. Lennart Vibjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Torsberg having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Torsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Vibjörnsson in the 23rd minute of play. Emanuel Dalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt-Arne Torsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Vibjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Dalman in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt-Arne Torsberg saved Jimmies Soldater from getting behind. Tommy Norström kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Torsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Vibjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Vibjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Dalman might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt-Arne Torsberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Dalman ran back to his position shaking his head. If Emanuel Dalman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bengt-Arne Torsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Vibjörnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Claes Gernberg came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Jimmies Soldater fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claes Gernberg couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lennart Vibjörnsson made a kick off. Lennart Vibjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bengt-Arne Torsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gustav Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Lagerberg having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. sumpan bk had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
