After 2 minutes, Christian Bergström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jimmies Soldater and the Nissafors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jimmies Soldater's Christian Bergström got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Greger Wallman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claes Gernberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Gustav Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Wallman having to interfere. Greger Wallman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greger Wallman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Gernberg in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Claes Gernberg made a precise shot to the right of Greger Wallman. Nissafors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Hultstrand during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jimmies Soldater booed when Nissafors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Hultstrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Christian Bergström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The referee ignored Jimmies Soldater's protests and gave Gustav Holmgren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Gustav Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dennis Ekman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bengt-Arne Torsberg having to make a save. Nissafors's Adam Hultstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Jimmies Soldater's zone, Jim Lindqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt-Arne Torsberg came out of the goal and Jim Lindqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Gernberg in the 46th minute of play forced Nissafors's goalkeeper Greger Wallman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Nissafors players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jimmies Soldater were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dennis Ekman to strike the kick off in the second half. Adam Hultstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Bengt-Arne Torsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claes Gernberg got free with Greger Wallman in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Greger Wallman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Hägg in the 82nd minute. Alexander Fridlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Greger Wallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustav Holmgren in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Greger Wallman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nissafors's Greger Wallman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Nissafors from getting a goal against them.
