An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Nyberg in the 4th minute of play forced Rosenlund FK's goalkeeper Albert Browald to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ove Holm hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Sverker Åkerman's late challenge caught a Lidsjöberg FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sverker Åkerman helped the player get up and apologised. Albert Browald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Holm in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Jens-Ove Gummeson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Browald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ove Holm, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 22nd minute, Jens-Ove Gummeson made a precise shot to the right of Herbert Gustavsson. Lidsjöberg FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Rosenlund FK's Inge Bengtsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Gustavsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Albert Browald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Nyberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inge Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Herbert Gustavsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosenlund FK. Jens-Ove Gummeson came free with the goalkeeper in the 34th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Herbert Gustavsson could save by the left post. Herbert Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inge Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens-Ove Gummeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Gustavsson having to interfere. If Inge Bengtsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leif Hjelm kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Albert Browald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Bammerman in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jens-Ove Gummeson succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Herbert Gustavsson came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosenlund FK's Inge Bengtsson. But to his dismay, Inge Bengtsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 61st minute Inge Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inge Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Herbert Gustavsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosenlund FK. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Inge Bengtsson sped through Lidsjöberg FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herbert Gustavsson. Inge Bengtsson scored 5-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Gustavsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Jens-Ove Gummeson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Gummeson in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herbert Gustavsson saved Lidsjöberg FK from getting behind. Inge Bengtsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rosenlund FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
