Lidsjöberg FK's Ove Holm got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 15 minutes, Göran Bammerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lidsjöberg FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Bammerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes in the game, Göran Bammerman fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Anders Byström having to interfere. Joel Broman kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. With a little luck, Frillesås IF's Anders Byström got control of the ball when Ove Holm tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Göran Bammerman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anders Byström. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 30th minute, Håkan Qvalfeldt had to leave the field with a concussion. 30 minutes into the game, Göran Bammerman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lidsjöberg FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frillesås IF the free kick. The supporters of Frillesås IF booed when Lidsjöberg FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Bammerman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Per Finman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Herbert Gustavsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anders Byström made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ove Holm sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Frillesås IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lidsjöberg FK the free kick. In the 56th minute, one of Frillesås IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Frillesås IF. Carl Sjödin shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 68th minute, Ove Holm made a precise shot to the right of Anders Byström. Frillesås IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 72 played minutes Lidsjöberg FK got a freekick which was hit by Ove Holm. 74 minutes into the match, Frillesås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Holm came free, but Anders Byström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Byström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anders Byström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ove Holm's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Ove Holm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Anders Byström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 99 played minutes Frillesås IF got a freekick which was hit by Josef Hammarbäck. Lidsjöberg FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
