Jon Lind scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albert Browald, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albert Browald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Arvidsson in the 26th minute of play. Albert Browald came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Solna RK's Torsten Wallin. But to his dismay, Torsten Wallin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Sverker Åkerman fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosenlund FK's protests and gave Sverker Åkerman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rosenlund FK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. If Douglas Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Solna RK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute, Jens-Ove Gummeson made a precise shot to the right of Alvar Månsson. Solna RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Rosenlund FK's Sverker Åkerman got a free kick in the 62nd minute. When Christian Nyman fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After a rather tough play, Solna RK's Jon Lind got a free kick in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Gummeson in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvar Månsson saved Solna RK from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Solna RK's zone, Jens-Ove Gummeson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Månsson came out of the goal and Jens-Ove Gummeson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens-Ove Gummeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvar Månsson having to interfere. In the 85th minute Douglas Arvidsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Browald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Nyman got free with Albert Browald in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Solna RK booed when Rosenlund FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niclas Lang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
