Spectators: 6819 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Paul Håkansson made the kick off which started today's match. Sixten Kjellqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Thomas Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Paul Håkansson made a precise shot to the right of Alfred Fribäck. Rimbo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Rimbo's Harry Ek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomas Larsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Rimbo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jens-Åke Rolfsson in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Rimbo's corner Jens-Åke Rolfsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomas Larsson quite easily take care of the ball. Thomas Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stellan Johnsson in the 25th minute of the match. When Sixten Kjellqvist came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Rimbo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixten Kjellqvist couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the game, Sixten Kjellqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomas Larsson. Sixten Kjellqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Harry Ek might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Larsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harry Ek ran back to his position shaking his head. Thomas Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixten Kjellqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute of the match, Harry Ek got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thomas Larsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixten Kjellqvist was the one to do the kick off. Harry Ek charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Ek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Harry Ek hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Harry Ek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Thomas Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rimbo booed when Blentarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikard Barck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erland Håkansson during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rimbo booed when Blentarp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erland Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alfred Fribäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Rimbo's goalkeeper Alfred Fribäck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Håkansson. In the 79th minute, Rickard Johansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Kjellqvist in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Blentarp's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Ek came free, but Thomas Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Sixten Kjellqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Larsson came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Rimbo's Sixten Kjellqvist. But to his dismay, Sixten Kjellqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Thomas Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Kjellqvist in the 90th minute of the match. Sixten Kjellqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Larsson having to interfere. Harry Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
