Thomas Larsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 6 minutes of play, Ljusterö IK's Svante Rudqvist made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Larsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Åke Gerdberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Thomas Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 15 minutes, Magne Eliasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ljusterö IK and the Blentarp players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ljusterö IK's Magne Eliasson got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 20 minutes, Inge Asklöv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blentarp and the Ljusterö IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Blentarp getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Inge Asklöv hit a great ball. Åke Gerdberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Thomas Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Gerdberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Ljusterö IK got a freekick which was hit by Petter Pilgren. Paul Håkansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Gerdberg in the 39th minute of play forced Blentarp's goalkeeper Thomas Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Gerdberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Åke Gerdberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Thomas Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ljusterö IK's Petter Pilgren got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

In the 51st minute, Petter Pilgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match, Åke Gerdberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thomas Larsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Paul Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Örjan Törnkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Östen Holm kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Åke Gerdberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thomas Larsson. Åke Gerdberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Åke Gerdberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Gerdberg in the 75th minute of the match. Blentarp's Thomas Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Gerdberg in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Pilgren got free with Thomas Larsson in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Petter Pilgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thomas Larsson was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Åke Gerdberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Åke Gerdberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Blentarp's goalkeeper Thomas Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Blentarp's goalkeeper Thomas Larsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svante Rudqvist. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ljusterö IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
