Henric Hultstrand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan Fransson in the 5th minute. United Chicken's Henric Hultstrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Hedman in the 6th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Joel Hedman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Henric Hultstrand made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Bengt-Arne Hjortberg sent off a good shot on target. United Chicken's Philip Caspersson got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Hedman in the 22nd minute of play forced United Chicken's goalkeeper Henric Hultstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Caspersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Verner Dahlbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Henric Hultstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Jan Fransson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henric Hultstrand was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The FC Wernamo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. United Chicken were winning 1-2.

Joel Hedman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Henric Hultstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Caspersson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 59th minute Alexander Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Esbjörnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henric Hultstrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Hjortberg in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Fransson in the 63rd minute of play forced United Chicken's goalkeeper Henric Hultstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Wernamo booed when United Chicken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zebastian Alebäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 minutes, Joel Hedman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wernamo and the United Chicken players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joel Hedman hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Joel Hedman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henric Hultstrand having to interfere. United Chicken's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 78th minute of the game, when Alvar Bure after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of FC Wernamo's goal. Alvar Bure was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Jan Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henric Hultstrand having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. United Chicken had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
