Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 0) Sandöverken's Martin Kilman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Malcolm Tham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Hellsing in the 7th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Bäckman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malcolm Tham was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Fred Juhlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ove Petersson hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Zebastian Wallin lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 23 minutes into the game, one of Ölänningarna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Sandöverken a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Georg Tillman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ölänningarna's Malcolm Tham. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Gustafsson in the 31st minute of play forced Ölänningarna's goalkeeper Malcolm Tham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ölänningarna getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Fred Juhlin hit a great ball. In the 38th match minute, Sandöverken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Hellsing to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Bäckman struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Malcolm Tham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandöverken. 45 minutes into the match, Martin Kilman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Malcolm Tham. Ölänningarna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Kilman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emil Skog to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sandöverken's zone, Emil Skog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Stabbe came out of the goal and Emil Skog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Kilman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Malcolm Tham made a huge save. 56 minutes into the game, Robert Gustafsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Malcolm Tham. Robert Gustafsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Malcolm Tham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Bäckman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm Tham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Kilman in the 65th minute. Fred Juhlin charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Juhlin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ölänningarna getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fred Juhlin hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Emanuel Bäckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Tham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malcolm Tham came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Sandöverken's Josef Holmgren. But to his dismay, Josef Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some careless play in the Ölänningarna defense, Martin Kilman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Malcolm Tham. The Ölänningarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Malcolm Tham should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Emanuel Bäckman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandöverken's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Bäckman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Malcolm Tham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Algren hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Bäckman in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malcolm Tham saved Ölänningarna from getting behind. Sandöverken's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
