Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Johan Olenberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Levander in the 4th minute of play forced Garphyttan's goalkeeper Gustav Nyström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johan Olenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tord Jansson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Johan Olenberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Herman Bammerman kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Garphyttan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Skarpnäck:s goal. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Skarpnäck. Kurt Danielsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gustav Nyström. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Skarpnäck's zone, Karl-Erik Berg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tord Jansson came out of the goal and Karl-Erik Berg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, Skarpnäck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Tord Jansson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 27 minutes, Freddie Svanér managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skarpnäck's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddie Svanér was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johan Olenberg in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tord Jansson saved Skarpnäck from getting behind. Skarpnäck's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Johan Olenberg scored to the left of an out of position Tord Jansson, making the score, 2-1. In the 41st minute, Joakim Kämpe made a precise shot to the right of Tord Jansson. Skarpnäck's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 49 minutes into the match, Skarpnäck's Freddie Svanér sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustav Nyström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddie Svanér stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tord Jansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Olenberg in the 60th minute of play. If Joakim Kämpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. Herman Bammerman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skarpnäck booed when Garphyttan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Olenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Jansson having to interfere. Garphyttan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
