Evert Öberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tord Jansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Sundberg during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Freddie Svanér took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valter Säf. Valter Säf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 21st minute, Jens-Åke Bolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valter Säf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Svanér in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Skarpnäck's zone, Adrian Sundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tord Jansson came out of the goal and Adrian Sundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the game, Christer Siöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Surf N Turf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skarpnäck the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Christer Siöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Skarpnäck's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roger Sundberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Melker Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 49th minute of the match, Evert Öberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tord Jansson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Melker Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Karl-Michael Bjurström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Skarpnäck's Henrik Olofsson got a free kick in the 59th minute. Henning Bohlin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tord Jansson having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, Karl-Michael Bjurström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tord Jansson. Skarpnäck's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Michael Bjurström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 76th minute, Evert Öberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Roger Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Skarpnäck's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Sundberg came free, but Tord Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Surf N Turf's Roger Sundberg got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Roger Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surf N Turf's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tord Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karl-Michael Bjurström scored 4-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tord Jansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christer Siöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Jansson having to interfere. Skarpnäck's Tord Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evert Öberg in the 95th minute of play. Karl-Michael Bjurström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Jansson having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Surf N Turf had played much better football throughout.
