Spectators: 7208 (Terracing: 5517, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patrick Wållander took the kick off in the first half of the match. Koppom's Per-Oskar Ersman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Koppom from getting a goal against them. In the 7thth minute of the game Mattias Pettersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Royal Fire's Magnus Hake was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Kent Norström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Per-Oskar Ersman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Royal Fire's Elof Arenius got a free kick in the 14th minute. Sigvard Lindgren's late challenge caught a Koppom's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigvard Lindgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Royal Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sigvard Lindgren to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Koppom's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Wållander came free, but Per-Oskar Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Royal Fire's Patrick Wållander got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 22 minutes, Kent Norström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Fire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Norström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Oskar Ersman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Wållander in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Koppom's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Ersman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kent Norström. Magnus Högberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magnus Hake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Magnus Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Pettersson in the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Magnus Högberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elof Arenius hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Pettersson in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magnus Hake saved Royal Fire from getting behind. Kent Norström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 48th minute, Magnus Högberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mattias Pettersson to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Royal Fire's Elof Arenius got a free kick in the 55th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Royal Fire's Kent Norström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Per-Oskar Ersman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Mattias Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Hake having to interfere. If Magnus Högberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mattias Pettersson fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koppom's protests and gave Mattias Pettersson a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Koppom got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Pettersson. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Pettersson in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magnus Hake saved Royal Fire from getting behind. In the 75th minute Mattias Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Hake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Pettersson in the 77th minute of play. Mattias Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Magnus Hake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arne Falkrantz's late challenge caught a Royal Fire's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arne Falkrantz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Koppom getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Arne Falkrantz hit a great ball. Kent Norström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Oskar Ersman having to interfere. Koppom's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
