Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jens Wahlnäs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Tunhems Idrottssällskap's Jimmy Björklund got control of the ball when Björn Löfgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Jarl Algren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snedspark BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarl Algren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmy Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Tunhems Idrottssällskap's Jens Wahlnäs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herman Gustafsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tunhems Idrottssällskap were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Snedspark BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jens Wahlnäs took the corner. Dick Aspengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Björklund having to interfere. The supporters of Snedspark BK booed when Tunhems Idrottssällskap was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Abelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes Tunhems Idrottssällskap got a freekick which was hit by Marc Kilstedt. 17 minutes into the game, Dick Aspengren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jimmy Björklund. Dick Aspengren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Tunhems Idrottssällskap getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Albert Offendahl hit a great ball. Jarl Algren's late challenge caught a Tunhems Idrottssällskap's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarl Algren helped the player get up and apologised. Timmy Ahlstedt scored 1-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herman Gustafsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Herman Gustafsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bo-Erik Wall went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Bo-Erik Wall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Herman Gustafsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Wahlnäs in the 35th minute of play forced Snedspark BK's goalkeeper Herman Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Snedspark BK's Herman Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Ahlstedt in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thor Berglund during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Albert Offendahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Snedspark BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tunhems Idrottssällskap were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dick Aspengren to make the kick off. Timmy Ahlstedt succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. After 58 minutes, Albert Offendahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tunhems Idrottssällskap and the Snedspark BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Albert Offendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristoffer Sjöö recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jens Wahlnäs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. Herman Gustafsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. In the 89th minute, Dick Aspengren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmy Björklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. Tunhems Idrottssällskap's Albert Offendahl got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Vilgot Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
