Killeberg IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 21st minute Harry Gulliksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingemar Björck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vilgot Lundqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olov Sjödin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilgot Lundqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. If Harry Gulliksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Killeberg IK's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Larsfelt came free, but Ingemar Björck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Gulliksson in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingemar Björck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell Larsfelt in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingemar Björck saved Killeberg IK from getting behind. Harry Gulliksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Björck having to interfere. Harry Gulliksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Vilgot Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magnus Josefsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mårten Almqvist's late challenge caught a IFK Hulan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mårten Almqvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Mårten Almqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olov Sjödin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Josefsson in the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Killeberg IK's Jarl Dahlkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olov Sjödin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 64 minutes into the game, Kjell Larsfelt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Ingemar Björck was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Kjell Larsfelt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Gulliksson in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ingemar Björck saved Killeberg IK from getting behind. Ingemar Björck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kjell Larsfelt in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Kjell Larsfelt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harry Gulliksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingemar Björck having to interfere. When the match was over IFK Hulan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Killeberg IK throughout the match.
