The tension between the Åryd RK and the Grimhäll Boys SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Åryd RK's Erling Bergendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Åberg in the 22nd minute of play. Bengt-Arne Galle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Erling Bergendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Galle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nils-Emil Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inge Skark hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The Åryd RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erling Bergendahl should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils-Emil Åberg in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erling Bergendahl saved Åryd RK from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars Bruhn to strike the kick off in the second half. Axel Sjögren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Erling Bergendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Axel Sjögren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, one of Grimhäll Boys SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Georg Melin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 58 minutes, Malte Malm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åryd RK and the Grimhäll Boys SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erling Bergendahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Åberg in the 64th minute of the match. Axel Sjögren struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Erling Bergendahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grimhäll Boys SK. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Grimhäll Boys SK's Nils-Emil Åberg in the 66th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Erling Bergendahl was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Åryd RK through an amazing save. Erling Bergendahl acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 71st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Anthon Rydberg. A collision led to Åryd RK getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Inge Skark hit a great ball. In the 75th match minute, Grimhäll Boys SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Grimhäll Boys SK's Victor Axelsson got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Victor Axelsson off the ground. Grimhäll Boys SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Oskar Pålsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erling Bergendahl was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Karl-Åke Nordström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Åke Nordström really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Lars Bruhn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åryd RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Bruhn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hjalmar Åberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96 played minutes Åryd RK got a freekick which was hit by Malte Malm. Grimhäll Boys SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
