Ronny Dahlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Ambjörnsson in the 12th minute of the match. Matthias Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pär Pååk, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Robin Adelsköld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vegby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mackis BK the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Vegby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Adelsköld to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Vegby getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Allan Myhr hit a great ball. Ronny Dahlberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jarl Ambjörnsson. In the 31stth minute of the game Oliver Mellbad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vegby's Matthias Mattsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Blomqvist's late challenge caught a Vegby's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Blomqvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Mackis BK got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Blomqvist. With an all-out effort, Vegby's Ronny Dahlberg threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarl Ambjörnsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 42ndth minute of the game Oliver Mellbad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vegby's Matthias Mattsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthias Mattsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oliver Mellbad made a kick off. Jarl Ambjörnsson took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronny Dahlberg. Ronny Dahlberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Matthias Mattsson made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Elof Vibjörnsson sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Oliver Mellbad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matthias Mattsson was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Robin Adelsköld hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When Elof Vibjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Mackis BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elof Vibjörnsson couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Oliver Mellbad put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Matthias Mattsson. Matthias Mattsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Oliver Mellbad in the 76th minute. Vegby's Matthias Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottfrid Josefsson in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Oliver Mellbad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mackis BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Mellbad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthias Mattsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oliver Mellbad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 85 minute of play. Bo Kling hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ronny Dahlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klas Fristedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Mellbad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Mattsson having to interfere. Mackis BK's Ronny Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Fristedt in the 95th minute of play.
