Mackis BK's Ronny Dahlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Mackis BK from getting a goal against them. Rasmus Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Mellbad in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Mackis BK booed when Hübbersfield SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronny Dahlberg made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Billy Sundberg sent off a good shot on target. Hübbersfield SV's Sverker Åkerman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Elias Hedbom in the 38 minute of the game. Ronny Dahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Bäckström in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Mackis BK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliver Mellbad to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven-Oskar Martinsson charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Oskar Martinsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gottfrid Josefsson got free with Rasmus Lund in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo Kling during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The shot was a little too simple and Rasmus Lund could save by the left post. After 61 minutes of play, Mackis BK's Oliver Mellbad made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rasmus Lund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hübbersfield SV's Eric Ennegren was substituted for Peter Törnblom. Mackis BK's Ronny Dahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Sundberg in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Georg Gadd had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Daniel Blomqvist fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mackis BK's protests and gave Daniel Blomqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Hübbersfield SV's Olov Bergström was substituted for Georg Gadd. Rasmus Lund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elof Vibjörnsson in the 77th minute. Hübbersfield SV's Rasmus Lund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pär Pååk in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pär Pååk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rasmus Lund was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 92nd minute Eric Ennegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Dahlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mackis BK were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Hübbersfield SV's much stronger midfield.
